Kayaking tour in the Tammisaari National Park
Kayaking gives you a completely new perspective on the Tammisaari National Park
Join us for a memorable kayaking trip through the Tammisaari Archipelago National Park! Paddle through the sheltered maze of the inner archipelago and rocky islets of the outer archipelago. Local nature is very diverse; Lush forests, wilderness lakes, seabird nesting islets and protected underwater habitats – A truly unique outdoor experience for all nature lovers.
Our experienced guide will plan the kayaking route and during the trip we will stay overnight at one of the many fire sites in the national park.
The tour is suitable for those with some previous paddling experience
On the Tammisaari kayaking tour we paddle at a relaxed pace and over the two days we cover a total distance of about 25-35 kilometres. The tour requires the completion of a beginner's course in kayaking. You must be able to paddle at a relaxed pace for about 20 kilometres during the day. We therefore do not recommend this trip for beginners.
We hope that you have some prior experience on camping and outdoors also. We sleep in tents and cook personal meals with outdoor stoves. In case you do not have all the necessary items, you can rent them from Natura Viva.
Schedule
We meet on Saturday at Sommarö parking lot at 10.00 am. We will return to the starting point on Sunday at 16.00.
Below you can find a potential kayaking route. The final route will be affected by the weather.
